AUTOBIOGRAPHY: Due November 16
You guys have made amazing improvements in your writing!
I am so proud of you.  I have enjoyed working with each of you!  Remember to save your autobiography for inclusion in the required Magnet School Digital Portfolio. The templates for three of the four sections are located below in Class Files: THE NARRATIVE ESSAY, The Life Story of..., THE DESCRIPTIVE ESSAYS, Maternal Grandmother (remember to adapt for all your grandparents), and My Siblings. The final essay, as you know, allowed for more student choice. When writing this NARRATIVE ESSAY, you were able to choose a sad, funny, scary, happy, etc. memory and write about it.  Remember to have someone proofread your autobiography before submitting it.  I will be happy to discuss your autobiography in a one-on-one conference before or after school prior to the due date.  I do ask that you schedule this conference by Tuesday, November 10.  If you have a grammar question that can be quickly answered during class, I will be happy to work with you. More detailed conferences will need to be outside of class time. The next essay we will include will be a PERSUASIVE ESSAY.  Topic will be given soon.
